Established in 1476. Moved to the current place at the beginning of Edo Shogunate. One of key temples of the Soto-shu school (ZehBuddhism).

Zazen is explained only in Japanese.

● Capacity: 16
(Reduced from the previous 40 due to the pandemic)

● Reminder for the participants:
Please show your「Certificate of Vaccination for COVID-19」.
“Please wear a mask,” and dress casually to avoid crowdedness in the locker room (which is set up for women and men.) Remove your socks, wrist watch and jewelry before entering the main hall.

● Fee:
Free for member of Minato UNESCO Associa­tion, 500Yen for other participants.

● Dress:
No special clothes are required but best to choose something loose and comfortable. However, please refrain from the use of bright colors, distracting jewelry, perfume etc.

● Sitting ZAZEN:
Sitting is usually on a cushion. There are also a limited number of chairs available.

●To protect yourself from COVIC-19
Please wear mask safety, and sanitize your hands and take your temperature at the entrance.
