Since its launch in 2017, our Japanese Speech Contest has grown to reach its 10th anniversary this year—a truly special milestone.

To reflect the diverse backgrounds of people living in today’s world, we updated our eligibility requirements last year to welcome participants regardless of nationality. The contest has evolved into a stage where both international and Japanese participants can come together and share, from the heart, what they want to express right now.

No matter how quietly or simply your thoughts may be expressed, your experiences and feelings have the power to touch someone’s heart and move them.
