Japanese Buddhist monks who learned Zen in China brought seeds of tea plant and related utensils 500 years ago.
Such a tea changed to Tea Ceremony in the Japanese soil and climate and by Japa-nese beauty sense.
It has evolved into a refined and con-tracted Wabi-cha with a variety of development.
The Spirit of Omotenashi is em-bodied in the conduct of the Tea ceremony.

*For your reference, free talks with the audience are to take place after the speeches.

Non-Japanese of any age who lives in Japan.

Minato-city Mayor Award along with some other awards.

◎ Successful Applicant
In case the number of applicants exceeds our limit, the selection will be made according to our guidelines.
